Rooted in the vibrant San Lorenzo Valley and hosted by Roaring Camp Railroads. Founded by local organizer Andrew Myers, the festival brings together music lovers, artists, foodies, and families under one festive roof.

Set amidst stunning redwood forests, Roaring Camp Railroads, nestled in the redwood-shrouded hills above Felton, provides the perfect setting for Winter Warmer Festival. Originally a recreation of an 1880s logging camp, the site features historic steam locomotives—some built in the 1890s—that carry guests through ancient redwood groves, over scenic trestles, and up to the summit of Bear Mountain on narrow-gauge tracks.
The centerpiece venue, Bret Harte Hall, is a rustic, barn‑style opera house that transforms into a cozy winter gathering space, offering indoor warmth while still connecting to the surrounding forest trail and artisan marketplace . Set against the towering canopy above Felton, the site blends historical charm and natural beauty—making it an ideal backdrop for an intimate community festival like Winter Warmer
The Zayante Volunteer Firefighters Association is honored to participate in the Winter Warmer Festival for the second year. We look forward to connecting with our community members and sharing in this wonderful event. The festival provides an opportunity for us to raise funds that support the Association’s mission to enhance training and upgrade vital equipment such as AEDs.
