Whether reimagining rarely played Grateful Dead songs, reviving unfinished family compositions, or showcasing new original work, Grahame Lesh and Friends pays homage to tradition while pushing it forward. The band’s sound is rich with harmony, groove, and emotional depth, offering longtime Deadheads and new listeners alike a fresh but familiar journey through American roots music.

  • Hot Buttered Duo

Hot Buttered Rum Duo features the core songwriting partnership of Nat Keefe and Erik Yates, longtime friends and founding members of the acclaimed California band Hot Buttered Rum. Stripping things down to guitar, banjo, flute, and two voices, the duo format showcases the heart of their music with warmth, intimacy, and intricate musicianship.

Together, Nat and Erik create a sound that blends bluegrass, folk, Americana, and thoughtful storytelling. Their songs touch on the natural world, travel, love, and life in the West, drawing on years of shared experience on the road and on stage. The stripped down setup allows space for harmony, improvisation, and moments of connection with the audience that feel personal and immediate.

Though best known for their high energy full band performances, the Hot Buttered Rum Duo offers something quieter but just as powerful. Whether in a listening room, a festival campfire set, or a small theater, the duo creates a welcoming space for fans new and old to experience the songs in a new light.

This is not just a scaled back version of the band. The Hot Buttered Rum Duo is its own unique experience, full of heart, harmony, and West Coast soul.

  • Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz

Known for his musicality, versatility, and heartfelt delivery, Lebo is inherently committed to an improvisational approach. The main vehicle for his fluid, buttery sound is a flat top acoustic guitar that he has personally customized and converted to electric with a vintage style humbucker pickup. His prowess on the strings is matched by his unforgettable songwriting.

When not touring the world with ALO (his band of 31 years), he leads Lebo & Friends - unique all star ensembles that have included Melvin Seals, George Porter Jr., Wally Ingram, Jennifer Hartswick, and Phil Lesh. Lebo is an in demand collaborator who performs frequently with Jack Johnson, members of the Grateful Dead and beyond. When not on tour, he can be found digging deep into recording and producing music in his studio, Leboland.
